Setup

Maintain customers and suppliers

Available

Keep the minimum customer and supplier identity needed for invoices, vouchers, ledgers, and tax work.

When to use it

  • Create a customer or supplier
  • Mark one organization as both customer and supplier
  • Maintain the TIN, optional address, VAT status, and active status

Before you begin

  • Open the client workspace
  • Prepare the registered name and complete 14-digit TIN

How to use it

  1. 01

    Open Customers & Suppliers

Expand Setup, select Customers & Suppliers, and use All, Customers, or Suppliers depending on the task.

  2. 02

    Create or edit a record

Enter the Registered Name and complete 14-digit TIN; hyphens are added automatically as digits are entered. Select Customer, Supplier, or both, and add an address only when available.

  3. 03

    Confirm tax status

Keep VAT as Unconfirmed until the source supports VAT Registered or Non-VAT. Set Active or Inactive for future selection.

  4. 04

    Delete or restore when needed

Deletion requires confirmation and keeps historical invoice references. Creating the same deleted TIN restores the existing record instead of creating a second identity.

Customer and Supplier tags show how each identity can be used without adding separate role records.

What happens next

The customer or supplier can be selected in relevant invoice and accounting forms.

Good to know

  • One organization may be both a customer and supplier.
  • Avoid creating a second record when the tax identifier already exists.
