Answers for everyday work

FAQ

Concise answers to the product, process, and status questions that come up most often.

01

Which portal should I use?

Platform operators use the platform portal, tax-firm staff use the firm portal, and client business users use the client portal. Day-to-day accounting and tax records are handled inside a client workspace opened from the firm portal.

02

Can I change language or theme?

Yes. The product supports English and Chinese interface settings, plus light and dark themes. The documentation also provides matching English and Chinese pages.

03

Which invoice files can the client portal upload?

The current client upload flow accepts PDF, JPG, PNG, and ZIP files, with a maximum of 25 MB per file.

04

Does a successful upload mean the invoice is complete?

No. Upload success only confirms file receipt. Recognition, review, duplicate checks, tax treatment, attachments, confirmation, and voucher work may still be pending.

05

Why does invoice direction matter?

Input and output invoices drive different business and withholding logic. In the current product, EWT is handled for eligible input invoices, while CWT is handled for eligible output invoices.

06

How many attachments can a manual invoice have?

The current manual invoice flow supports one primary attachment and up to three supporting attachments.

07

Why is a submitted voucher not visible in the ledger yet?

Voucher posting runs asynchronously. Return to the voucher list and confirm the posting status. Draft, incomplete, or failed vouchers do not appear as posted ledger activity.

08

Which tax filing types are currently supported?

The filing workbench currently covers VAT 2550Q, Percentage Tax 2551Q, EWT 1601EQ, and Corporate Quarterly Income Tax 1702Q. The EWT area also supports preparation flows for 0619E, 1601EQ, and 1604E packages.

09

Does IntelligentTax submit directly to BIR or pay automatically?

No. The current implementation supports preparation, readiness, review, evidence, and lifecycle tracking. Direct BIR submission and automatic payment are planned, not available operations.

10

Why do some items say Planned but have no steps?

This manual publishes operating instructions only for code-verified functionality. Planned items are identified for transparency, but instructions are added only after implementation and verification.

12

Can I read the manual on a phone?

Yes. Navigation collapses into a drawer, article content becomes single-column, and every system screenshot can be opened in a full-screen zoomable viewer.
