Read product notifications, follow their business link, and keep the inbox organized.
What this menu does
Bring system, account, quota, file, workflow, and security notifications into the active portal.
Where to find it
Select the bell icon in the product top bar.
When to use it
- Check unread messages.
- Open the business record linked by a notification.
- Mark all visible notifications read.
- Archive a notification after handling it.
Before you begin
- Use an account issued for the intended portal.
- Use a supported desktop or mobile browser.

Supported operations
Read a message
- 1
Select the bell icon.
- 2
Use All, Read, or Unread to narrow the list.
- 3
Select a message to open its detail.
- 4
Review its category, text, and time.
Opening an unread message attempts to mark it read and updates the unread badge.
Open the related business action

Open the message detail.
- 2
Read the requested action and confirm the company or portal context.
- 3
Select Open action.
- 4
Complete the task on the destination page, then return to messages if needed.
Internal product links open in the same portal; approved external links open separately.
Mark all messages read
- 1
Open the message center.
- 2
Select Mark all read.
- 3
Confirm the unread count becomes zero.
Loaded notifications are marked read; this does not archive or delete them.
Archive a message
- 1
Open the message detail.
- 2
Confirm no follow-up remains.
- 3
Select Archive.
- 4
Return to the list and confirm the item is no longer shown.
The notification leaves the active message list; the related business record is not deleted.
Business rules and fields
- Only notifications for the current portal audience are shown.
- Archiving a message does not complete the underlying business task.
- A notification title or body can be localized while business values stay unchanged.

What happens next
- The message center reflects read state and active notifications for the signed-in portal.
- Open action preserves the notification's intended business context.
Common problems
The page asks you to sign in again.
The session expired or its security token is missing.
Return to the same portal login page, sign in again, then repeat the operation.
